Science Adventures

Have you ever been to Six Flags? If you look around it is much more than just having fun. Going to Six Flags can be exciting and entertaining, but it can also be very educational. I recommend that the class of 2021 goes to Six Flags to learn some new scientific facts.
Six Flags is very thrilling! Of course, getting on a roller coaster and going up and down and upside down is thrilling after waiting in a long line! Riding a coaster is like you’re flying! Six Flags has many small games to play. You could win a prize as tall as you! When I went to Six Flags, my best friend and I won stuffed unicorns for throwing darts at balloons.
Six Flags is also educational. However, riding a roller is fun, but you can learn about kinetic and potential energy. You can learn from throwing a dart at a balloon when the balloon pops, that is sound energy. When you go down a hill on a roller coaster you better hold on tight, because gravity can jerk you down.
Going to Six Flags can be a memory you will never forget, and you can learn some unforgettable scientific facts. I believe the class of 2021 should go on this field trip, so we would better understand science in the future.

Push

Be careful who you push away
You might be pushing someone who actually cares for you
Someone who would do anything for you
You might push someone to the point,
the point where they no longer care.

That is dangerous.

Turning one’s heart that was so innocent,
into a heart of stone.

It’s like a flower facing a hurricane
your petals breaking
falling to the ground
your heart breaking
piece
by
piece.

Snow Coming To Life

The snow
so bright and pearly
so bright,
it was blinding

We danced with the snowmen
our snow angels were a bit of heaven
We threw snowballs that shot like rockets.
The snow was coming to life!

Snowballs hit me in my back
SPLAT!
It was like a rocket
Snow was coming to life!

Snow angels that sparkled and shined.
Like my mom’s pearls on her necklace.
Snow was coming to life!

The snowmen danced and laughed.
They were almost humans like us.
The Snow was coming to life!

The snow
so bright and pearly
so bright,
it was blinding.

The snow
was coming to life!

The One Who’s Always With Me

“I will never leave you or forsake you.” Hebrews 13:5 These words from Jesus are a reminder that he is my helper, my protection, and he will always be with me. I admire Jesus because he loves me even when I don’t deserve his love, and he protects me from danger.

He loves me. However, he loves me so much he gave his life for me. Fortunately, I’m going to live for him because he died for me.

He protects me. Sometimes I get tied up in the evil of this world, and Jesus is always there to protect me. Most important, he died for me, so I could be set free. Never forget that Jesus is always there to protect you. Or consider he simply protects you by giving you food and shelter. So I thank him for keeping me safe.

If I never met Jesus then I would be living an absolutely different life. Ever since I met Jesus my life a has been different than my past, and I know he has amazing plans for my future.

Birthday At Six Flags

Finally, we were at Six Flags, celebrating for my friends birthday! I saw so many people eating snacks, drinking soda, talking to friends, and having so much fun. Oh, how much fun the rides looked! I could hardly wait! Although we had to wait in the long lines.

While waiting in line to ride the Shock wave my friends and I were nervous. Looking how fast it went, and the upside down loops gave me the chills. We were yet nervous, but extremely excited! I was so excited I could not wait any longer! I could tell something very fun was about to happen.

As going up the hill my stomach growled at me. Once we flashed away I screamed, but not with fear, but with excitement! On the loops I felt dizzy, because all the ups and downs, and turns. The view was beautiful looking down from the night sky. The coaster was lime green, with bright lights on it that lit up the night.

After the ride we felt dizzy, but also pumped up, and wild! The excitement rushed through my bones making me want to ride it over and over again!

On way home we talked on about our favorite rides. Everybody’s favorite ride was the Shock wave. I think it was the best ride of all! Riding the shock wave seemed scary at first, but i wouldn’t take back that memory. It wasn’t a good memory because I had fun, but because I had fun with my friends.”Let your faith be bigger than your fears.

2013 Memories

The highlight of my year 2013 for me was mission camp.  Mission camp was my church did this summer for preteens. All the preteens did fun missions to help others. First, we went to a homeless shelter called ” house of hope.”We poured water and tea, and made salad for them. Then, they showed us around the shelter. After that, we wrote down on notes ”Jesus loves you,” and a verse on the back. We passed the notes out with a Hershey’s  kiss in Walmart. We did fun praise and worship songs,  We roasted marsh mellows, we went swimming,we played games at the arcade, and we did a bible study. This is a memory I could never forget! 🙂

Another memory I have is when I first met my friend Katelyn. On the first day of school I had no idea who she was. She was in my class, so I thought I could talk to her.  She ended up riding the same bus as me.  We sat by each other, and we started playing together. That’s when I realized we were meant to be best friends.  Kaycee, Katelyn, and I had a slumber party at her house for her birthday. The three of us had a blast!

Another memory was New Years Eve lock in with the preteens at church.  We went to Holly Lake ranch. The same place we went for mission camp. We got our flash lights, and had a treasure hunt outside. The girls team won! Then we played a game where we had to wrap our team mates in toilet paper then dress them up as a snowman. We sang worship songs, and had a countdown for 2014. My friends Ally and Livia said they would stay up all night, but they ended up falling asleep. I was the only girl up! I ended up playing video games, and eating cookies with the boys. Then at 7 am I passed out!

MY goal for 2014 is to be a leader  at school, church, and everywhere else. I will try my best to be respectful to my parents. I will stop making bad grades. I hope to improve my reading skills! Happy New Year!!! 🙂

Should every kid get a trophy?

NO! Ithink it is not fare for to the winning team that worked hard for it. What would be the fun in comepeting? People would just lye around being fat, and not work for it So NO! Not everybody should get a trophy.
